Vestas Offshore & Endiprev’s Growing Partnership

Endiprev is proud to announce a significant milestone in the partnership with Vestas’ offshore business unit, opening doors to new and exciting opportunities.

Over the past few months, we have been working with Vestas’ offshore wind business unit all across the UK. This contract solidifies Endiprev’s position as a key service provider in the offshore wind energy sector, with new projects that promise further to expand our expertise and contribution to renewable energy.

The Path to Partnership with Vestas Offshore

Securing this important cooperation required years of persistence, strategic outreach, and enduring commitment to excellence. Our team actively engaged with Vestas Offshore representatives, ensuring that Endiprev presented itself as a reliable and capable partner for future projects.

This dedicated effort culminated in the signing of the offshore service agreement earlier this year, officially making Endiprev a potential service provider for Vestas’ offshore projects. This partnership not only highlights the trust Vestas places in our team but also aligns perfectly with Endiprev’s long-term goal of being a global leader in the wind energy sector.

Team Preparedness: A Crucial Step Forward

One of the key steps in moving forward with Vestas’ offshore projects was ensuring our team was fully prepared—both in terms of technicians and training. Given the specific challenges of offshore environments and the complexity of each wind turbine model, this type of work requires specialized knowledge and skills.

Endiprev has been working in the offshore sector on different continents for more than 12 years. The knowledge and skills we have gathered from these projects, in terms of understanding the needs and the challenges of working in this sector and, preparing our teams for such are unparalleled. Now, our technicians can be more adaptable to different offshore locations and work with various procedures, technologies, and cultural contexts. More recently, we have been playing a part in other major projects, such as the installation of the Dogger Bank Wind Farm and the Mechanical and Electrical Completion and Commissioning of the Vineyard Wind Farm. Combined with the required training programs, this has equipped our team with a diverse skill set, enabling us to support our customers with the highest level of expertise.

Our dedication to this preparation and safety all the while allowed us to secure two new projects under this new agreement: Horns Rev 3 and Triton Knoll. Both are important wind farms — Horns Rev 3 is one of Denmark’s largest offshore wind farms with a capacity of 406 MW, and Triton Knoll is one of the UK’s largest, boasting a capacity of 857 MW.

Collaboration and Expertise for Exceptional Results

The success of these projects depended not just on technical skill but on collaboration too. Offshore wind farm projects often involve working with multiple subcontractors in environments that present both logistical and safety challenges. Our team quickly adapted to these complex environments, working side-by-side with other professionals to ensure the successful execution of major corrective work tasks.

These projects marked a turning point for our offshore knowledge, and their success opened the door to new scopes with Vestas Offshore. Endiprev has been awarded two more contracts under our partnership with this OEM: at the Kincardine and Walney Wind Farms. The first one, located off the coast of Scotland, is the world’s largest floating wind farm, with a capacity of 50 MW. With our work at this wind farm officially concluded, our focus now shifts to the Walney Wind Farm. With a capacity of 659 MW, this is one of the largest offshore wind farms in England.

Our growing partnership with Vestas is a testament to our dedication and capabilities. From now on, we will be more equipped to deliver a more complete and seamless experience for our customers, reinforcing Endiprev’s reputation as a trusted turnkey partner. We are excited about the future and confident in our ability to continue delivering exceptional results and uphold the high standards that define us. This collaboration marks an exciting step forward on our shared journey toward a more sustainable future.
