The modern wind turbines are designed to operate for at least 30 years if owners strictly follow the maintenance recommendations and have the support of experienced teams throughout the years. When wind turbines reach the end of their operational lifetime, they can be fully decommissioned. That means that every machine component needs to be removed from the site.
