Endiprev has a new subsidiary in France
The year starts with great news: Endiprev is expanding the business in the European market. We opened this week a new subsidiary, the Endiprev France SARL, in Nantes (France).
Throughout the last years, the activity in France increased substantially, as well as the recognition of our performance there. Having this into consideration and in a way to simplify the logistics of the future projects, the Endiprev Management Team decided to open this new subsidiary in the French region.
Endiprev is currently working with the top OEM in the industry in France, mainly on commissioning and maintenance projects. So, we understand how important the local presence is for our customers. Additionally, to become even more responsive to address their needs, this local presence is also necessary to improve our work at an operational and legal level. We are going to have local employment contracts, being more flexible when it comes to our teams’ mobility.
The French Market in the wind power industry
The wind power sector in France is one of the most promising, taking the 7th place in the installed capacity in the world, according to the Windpower Monthly rating. This rating measures “project pipeline, political and policy support, investor confidence and structural readiness of the country in terms of grid infrastructure, permitting process and local supply chain”.
For the next years, France is going to work on ambitious projects for the decarbonization of the country. As a result, it will have a big and continuous investment in the onshore and offshore wind power. At this moment, there are several approved offshore projects, with a capacity of 3GW, which are starting to be commissioned in 2023, such as:
- Fécamp.
- Courseulles-Sur-Mer.
- Saint-Nazaire.
- Saint-Brieuc.
- Dieppe – Le Tréport.
- Yeu-Noirmouter.
- Dunkerque.
France is also one of the countries leading the investment in the development of the offshore floating wind technology. This year, a 25MW Mediterranean floating wind farm is going to be commissioned 15km off Gruissan.
Being France one of Endiprev’s focus markets, this is something that we have been working on for a long time. Only this way we can step up to deliver even more quality, commitment, and local content to our customers there. France is the 9th country where Endiprev opens an entity, alongside Portugal, USA, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, China, Ethiopia, and a sign that we will continue to grow.
