Offshore wind: Endiprev awarded maintenance scope of Saint-Nazaire Wind Farm
Endiprev is very proud to announce that we will be performing the maintenance campaigns and the remote control of the Saint-Nazaire Offshore Wind Farm until next year.
Endiprev will continue working on Saint-Nazaire Wind Farm in several maintenance campaigns and remote control activities. In March, the team started the Mechanical and Electrical Completion and Commissioning of the offshore wind farm. We are the main engineering service supplier for GE Renewable Energy for the Installation & Commissioning project.
Once it comes online later this year, the team will mobilize a maximum of 24 technicians per rotation to perform maintenance campaigns of 40 GE Haliade 150 wind turbines. Until 2023, Endiprev will take part in the following scopes:
- Preventive Maintenance: Break-in services and annual maintenance activities, including torqueing and greasing.
- Corrective Maintenance: troubleshooting and retrofit/inspection campaigns.
Our Remote Operational Center will also be monitoring the Saint-Nazaire Wind Farm. We will have 14 technicians monitoring the offshore wind farm 24/7, assuring that the wind turbines pass the test run. This wind farm will be added to others that our Remote Control team is already monitoring. These include the Merkur and Belwind Wind Farms and the Haliade-X Prototype in Rotterdam.
Endiprev has built, over the years, a strong track record in several offshore wind projects. Our team has been working on the GE Haliade 150 wind turbine since its prototype. We have already supported the OEM in four offshore wind farms composed of this wind turbine in Germany, Belgium, the USA, and China, performing commissioning and maintenance activities. We have also supported SGRE in a maintenance campaign for the Global Tech I Wind Farm.
Our experience in offshore wind has grown alongside our company. As it becomes one of the solutions for clean energy, especially in Europe, we are excited to be part of such a great achievement in France and help Europe achieve its clean energy goals.
