How Endiprev keeps safety at the center of everything we do

When technicians climb into a nacelle or step onto the deck of an offshore platform, the job stops being only about energy and cables. It becomes a choice. A choice to look out for themselves and for the person beside them.  

At Endiprev, our people, procedures, and culture actively support treating safety as the foundation of our work, never as an afterthought.

That’s why our OHS teams across Portugal, the US, France, and the UK build a safety-first mindset into everything we do, in the office, onshore, and offshore, instead of creating rules for their own sake.

Seeing safety where the work happens 

Safety for us starts where the work happens. Our OHS teams reinforce good practices through regular audits, field visits, and cross-subsidiary webinars. Each visit or meeting becomes a chance to celebrate what’s working and address recurring issues before they escalate. 

Recent initiatives reflect this practical approach: 

In Portugal, safety technicians are now assigned to specific Business Units. Following projects closely and creating a direct link between field realities and safety planning. They regularly visit sites and take part in audits, ensuring that all measures are grounded in real working conditions. 

On the US side, safety has been equally reinforced through vigilance, mutual care and clear communication. Field teams actively use their Stop Work Authority to address unsafe conditions, and OHS leadership promotes both physical and mental well-being.

Across France, a lifting tool was introduced to reduce manual handling risks, alongside new office measures such as DATI systems for lone workers and updated warehouse rules.

Meanwhile, in the UK, technicians are being equipped with site-specific emergency and rescue gear, while new guidance on fatigue management will help them plan rest and shifts safely.

Apart from this: 

  • Regular meetings between local teams, clients and OHS specialists help us give constant feedback; 
  • Safety alerts and client-shared observations are circulated across our channels to make information immediate and visible. 

Together, these actions show how we translate a global framework — supported by ISO standards — into local, practical steps that make a visible difference in daily work.

Integration with Muehlhan Wind Service — exchanging strengths 

The ongoing integration with Muehlhan Wind Service is already bringing clear benefits. Teams are sharing successful practices and seeing where each organization can learn from the other. In November, we will run joint workshops on safety and environment to align objectives and define next-year campaigns.  

The goal is simple: align where it makes sense, amplify what works, and come out stronger together. .

What the numbers and trends say 

We are careful not to overclaim. Most indicators show positive results: we have kept the majority of tracked items within desired ranges, and we haven’t recorded any major high-severity incidents in recent years. At the same time, small, recurrent injuries — strains, slips, minor impacts — show where daily vigilance still needs work, especially as many new people join the organization.  

This is a reminder that safety is continuous improvement, not a finish line. 

Challenges and priorities ahead 

The immediate priorities are clear: 

  • complete the integration and align safety objectives with MWS; 
  • roll out fatigue management guidance and supportive training; 
  • maintain close project-level follow-up through dedicated safety technicians; 
  • keep strengthening psychological safety and wellbeing alongside physical protections. 

Safety at Endiprev is more than rules. It’s the way we organize our days and the way we look out for one another.
We will keep investing in people, in tools and in the conversations that prevent the small incidents from becoming big ones.
